If a quantity differs from your supplier’s estimate, keep the worksheet and compare the units before ordering. The calculator’s download includes the inputs and assumptions so another person can repeat the arithmetic.

Details to include in a correction

• The calculator page and all input values, including unit labels.
• The displayed result and the result you expected.
• The product name and label yield or coverage, if relevant.
• Whether depth means loose, installed or additional material.

Check common unit mismatches

Feet and inches, US gallons and liters, short tons and metric tonnes, bag weight and bag yield are not interchangeable. Also check whether your quote has already included waste, a minimum load or a loose-volume conversion.
